Softfootball Media caught up with Calister Ojonugwa Enejele, popularly known as Cali Sports, a Nigerian football reporter and content creator based in Abuja, ahead of the Super Eagles’ AFCON 2027 qualifier against Madagascar.
Cali Sports believes Nigeria must make a strong start to their qualifying campaign at home and collect all three points in Uyo.
She acknowledged Nigeria’s previous defeat to Madagascar but believes the Super Eagles have improved and learned from their past mistakes. She also expressed confidence in head coach Éric Chelle, the quality within the squad and the support the team will receive from the fans at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

With one of the host nations for the 2027 AFCON already qualifying automatically, Cali Sports believes the Super Eagles must take their opportunity to secure maximum points from the opening game and put themselves in a strong position in the group.
