Mbappé’s comments come shortly after Yamal openly reflected on his performance at the 2026 World Cup, admitting that his displays did not meet the standards he had set for himself despite helping Spain lift the trophy. Yamal scored once during the tournament and later acknowledged that he expected more from his individual performances.
