Ezri Konsa has completed his move from Aston Villa to Arsenal after the two clubs reached a final agreement for the England international.

The 28-year-old defender joins the Gunners in a deal worth £51 million guaranteed plus £4 million in add-ons, taking the potential total value to £55 million.

Konsa underwent his Arsenal medical yesterday and has now officially put pen to paper on a four-year contract, with the club holding an option to extend the agreement for a further year.

The move represents the completion of a transfer that Softfootball had been closely tracking, after reporting earlier that Konsa had agreed personal terms with Arsenal and was pushing to join Mikel Arteta’s project.

His representatives subsequently informed Aston Villa of his desire to make the move, with negotiations between the clubs progressing rapidly before the final agreement was reached.

Konsa now becomes the latest defensive addition to Arsenal as Arteta continues to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
