Ezri Konsa has agreed personal terms with Arsenal and is pushing to join the Gunners, with negotiations now moving towards the final stages.
Softfootball can confirm that Konsa’s representatives have informed Aston Villa of the defender’s desire to join Arsenal and become part of Mikel Arteta’s project.
Arsenal and Villa are now in direct contact as they work towards reaching an agreement for the England international.
Konsa has been one of Arsenal’s top defensive targets throughout the summer and the transfer has now taken a significant step forward following the agreement on personal terms.

The move comes after Arsenal made a statement at the start of the 2026/27 campaign, defeating Manchester City 3-0 in the Community Shield at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
The Gunners took the lead after just 23 seconds, with Riccardo Calafiori finishing from close range after being played through by Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Arsenal ultimately secured an impressive victory and their first piece of silverware of the new campaign, while negotiations for Konsa continue behind the scenes.
