We can confirm that Academy graduate Nathaniel Clyne has left the club following the expiration of his contract. Everyone at Crystal Palace would like to thank Clyney for his services to the club and wish him the very best for the future.
Clyne originally joined the Palace youth setup at age 14, progressing through the ranks before making his professional debut in October 2008 at age 17. His early rise established him as one of the club’s standout Academy products.
After leaving for Liverpool, Clyne eventually re‑signed for Crystal Palace on a short‑term deal to cover defensive injuries. He went on to stay for six additional years, providing experience and depth across multiple seasons until his contract expired this summer.
