Softfootball can confirm Hartlepool United have completed the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Max Merrick on a season-long loan for the 2026/27 campaign.
The England Under-20 international will continue his development with the National League side after committing his long-term future to Chelsea earlier this year.
In March, Merrick signed a new contract with the Blues that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2028, underlining the clubโs confidence in his potential.
