The former Chelsea academy graduate is capable of playing on either flank and has become one of Forest’s standout performers under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Aina has enjoyed an outstanding campaign, scoring twice in 19 league appearances while helping Forest compete strongly in the top flight.
With only six months remaining on his current contract, the 27-year-old could become an attractive option for several clubs if a new deal is not agreed. City are expected to strengthen multiple areas of their squad as Guardiola plans the next phase of his team.
