Nigerian forward Gift Orban is closing in on a move to Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim, with negotiations between the German club and Olympique Lyon reportedly at an advanced stage.
The 22-year-old has struggled for consistent minutes since joining Lyon from Belgian side KAA Gent in January, netting just once in 13 league appearances during a difficult debut campaign in France.

Softfootball has learned that transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed talks between the two clubs were progressing well. He wrote:
Hoffenheim are in advanced talks to sign Gift Orban as new striker from Olympique Lyon. Negotiations underway.
The agreement is considered close as they are the most concrete team working on deal with OL, despite links with Turkish clubs too.
Orban has shown flashes of quality this season, scoring twice in three Coupe de France appearances and twice more in three league matches, suggesting a fresh start in Germany could help revive his form.
