Victor Osimhen has dismissed speculation linking him with a January move away from Galatasaray, insisting he remains committed to the Turkish champions for the rest of the season.

Softfootball understands that the Nigeria international addressed growing rumours over his future after reports suggested several top European clubs were monitoring his situation ahead of the January transfer window.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli during the summer and has quickly become one of the club’s standout performers.

Despite the transfer speculation, the 25-year-old made it clear that he has no plans to leave midway through the campaign, stressing that his current focus is entirely on helping Galatasaray achieve success.

The striker also revealed that any discussions regarding his long-term future will only take place at the end of the season, once both Galatasaray and Napoli decide on the next step.

Osimhen admitted he is enjoying his time at the Istanbul club, describing Galatasaray as a team he genuinely likes and where he feels comfortable.

The Super Eagles forward has been in outstanding form since arriving in Turkey, registering six goals and four assists in just eight appearances across all competitions for Okan Buruk’s side.

His impressive performances have played a key role in Galatasaray’s strong domestic and European campaign, further increasing interest in his services ahead of next summer’s transfer window.
