Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek has revealed that the club will decide on the future of Victor Osimhen at the end of the season.

Softfootball understands that Osimhen has enjoyed an impressive start to life in Turkey after joining the Turkish Super Lig champions on a season-long loan from Napoli during the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old striker has contributed four goals and three assists in seven appearances across all competitions, sparking speculation that Galatasaray could pursue a permanent transfer next summer.

However, Özbek insists the club is not in a rush to make any decision regarding the Nigerian international’s long-term future.

According to the club president, Galatasaray’s immediate priority is maintaining their successful campaign, with discussions over Osimhen’s future expected to take place once the season concludes.

Özbek praised the striker’s performances since arriving in Istanbul, describing him as an important player who has made a positive impact on the team.

He added that the club’s board remains focused on achieving success this season and will consider every aspect of Galatasaray’s future plans, including Osimhen’s situation, when the appropriate time arrives.
