Arsenal have received a major injury boost after captain Martin Ødegaard returned to full training with his teammates ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash against Inter Milan.
Softfootball understands that the Norwegian midfielder has been sidelined for the past two months after sustaining an ankle injury while on international duty with Norway in September, causing him to miss 12 matches.

Ødegaard rejoined the rest of the Arsenal squad during Tuesday’s training session and completed the workout without showing any signs of discomfort.
His return comes as a timely boost for manager Mikel Arteta, who has been without one of his most influential players during a demanding run of fixtures.
The 25-year-old is now expected to be included in Arsenal’s travelling squad for Wednesday’s Champions League encounter in Italy.
Although Arteta is likely to manage the midfielder’s comeback carefully, Ødegaard could feature for a limited period against Inter as he continues his recovery and builds up match fitness ahead of a busy schedule.
