Information reaching Softfootball indicates that Crystal Palace have agreed a deal in principle to appoint Pierre Sage as their new head coach, marking the beginning of a new era at Selhurst Park.

The agreement will see Sage sign a contract valid until June 2029, with an additional season option included. After his excellent work at RC Lens, the Frenchman is now set for his first Premier League challenge and is reportedly eager to begin this new chapter with Crystal Palace.

Sage’s arrival follows the departure of Oliver Glasner, who left the club at the end of the 2025–26 season. Glasner’s tenure was one of the most successful in Palace’s history, delivering the 2024–25 FA Cup and the 2025–26 UEFA Conference League, achievements that elevated the club’s profile both domestically and in Europe.
