Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed full seriousness and determination as his side prepares to face Paris Saint‑Germain in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League final.

Speaking to the media, Softfootball gathered that Arteta, who guided Arsenal to their first Premier League title in 22 years believes this final represents a defining moment for the club and this generation of players.
Here was his statement:
This final clearly is the opportunity to own the moment and the opportunity to write a new chapter in the history of this football club.
In order to do that, we have to play with clarity, a lot of courage & a relentless desire to win.
On the other hand, PSG manager Luis Enrique also addressed the media ahead of the final. He said winning last season’s Champions League was historic for PSG, but lifting the trophy again would be even more special.

Enrique expressed strong respect for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta, noting he was impressed by their consistency throughout the Premier League campaign.
His earlier comments included:
Winning the UCL, it was historical last year for PSG. But winning it twice in a row… that would be fantastic. It’s an extra motivation for us.
I’m not surprised to see Arsenal winning the Premier League. Seven years under Arteta, excellent team, they’ve been the most consistent this year.
Both managers agree on one thing: there is no clear favourite. PSG aim to continue proving they are one of the world’s elite teams, while Arsenal see this as a once‑in‑a‑generation chance to cement their legacy.
