Minutes of the Meeting of the Electoral Board of Real Madrid.

As Softfootball earlier reported, Pérez had already confirmed his intention to run again alongside the current board, insisting his objective remains protecting and defending the interests of Real Madrid’s members and continuing the club’s long-term sporting and institutional project.
The latest development comes amid growing criticism and increasing calls from sections of supporters demanding Pérez step down following recent disappointments and concerns surrounding the club’s sporting direction.
Despite the pressure, reports continue to indicate that the long-serving president has no intention of resigning and instead remains fully committed to contesting the elections.

Pérez remains one of the most influential figures in modern football administration, overseeing multiple successful eras at Real Madrid including domestic league triumphs, Champions League success, and major infrastructure developments such as the renovation of the club’s stadium.
Challenger Enrique José Riquelme Vives now emerges as the alternative option for members seeking leadership change ahead of the vote.
The presidential election is expected to attract major attention across Spanish football as Real Madrid members prepare to decide the club’s future direction both on and off the pitch ahead of another important sporting cycle.
