The Premier League has released the nominees for the 2025/26 Premier League Player of the Season award. This comes after they also shared the list of the six nominees for Manager of the Season.
Here is the list of the eight nominees for the Premier League Player of the Season award for 2025/26:

- Igor Thiago
These players have all performed very well this season. However, softfootball believes, similar to the Manager of the Season award, that the winner will most likely be decided by the club that wins the Premier League title, which is currently between Arsenal and Manchester City.
Therefore, Arsenal players Gabriel Magalhães, David Raya, and Declan Rice, alongside Manchester City stars Erling Haaland and Antoine Semenyo, are most likely to win the award should either of their teams secure the 2025/26 Premier League title.
