Softfootball can confirm Chelsea FC are closing in on a new long-term deal for Moisés Caicedo, with an agreement set to run until June 2033.
Caicedo, who joined from Brighton & Hove Albion for €116.6 million in 2023, has developed into one of the club’s standout performers and a key presence in midfield. Earlier this year, he also expressed his desire to become a Chelsea legend, highlighting his deep connection to the club.
According to a post shared by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on his official x handle, Final details are currently being sorted, with the Ecuador international already giving the green light to remain at the club for the long term. The new deal is expected to further underline his importance within Chelsea’s project.

Romano posted:
BREAKING: Chelsea are closing in on new deal for Moisés Caicedo! The agreement will be valid until June 2033 with final details being sorted, as @CLMerlo reports. Caicedo has given green light to #CFC stay for long term.

The move follows a similar contract renewal for Reece James and comes at a crucial time, as Chelsea look to stabilize performances amid a difficult run of results in the Premier League.
