Harry Maguire has been handed a one-match suspension and fined £30,000 by the The Football Association, Softfootball reports.
The Manchester United defender will miss the upcoming clash against Chelsea FC after being sent off in the 2–2 draw with AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. Maguire conceded a penalty in the 78th minute after pulling down Evanilson.

According to Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, He was further charged for improper conduct after directing comments toward fourth official Matt Donohue while leaving the pitch. The FA confirmed he used “abusive and/or insulting words,” leading to the additional fine.

The suspension comes shortly after Maguire signed a new contract extension at United, keeping him at the club until 2027, with an option to extend to 2028.
