Softfootball can confirm Achraf Hakimi has credited Luis Enrique for transforming his understanding of the full-back role, highlighting the tactical evolution at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Moroccan defender recently celebrated 200 appearances for PSG and has expressed a strong desire to remain at the club long-term, having become one of the most influential full-backs in world football since joining from Inter Milan in 2021.

Meanwhile, Enrique has warned his squad to stay focused ahead of their clash with Liverpool FC at Anfield, describing it as a “trap match” despite PSG holding a 2–0 advantage in their UEFA Champions League tie.
