Shakhtar Donetsk Agree €12m Deal for Brazilian Talent Bruninho

FC Shakhtar Donetsk have agreed a deal to sign 17-year-old Brazilian talent Bruninho from Athletico Paranaense for a fee of €12 million, Softfootball reports.

The move comes shortly after club owner Rinat Akhmetov made a rare stadium appearance, attending Shakhtar’s 3–0 victory over AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final in Kraków.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on his x handle, The deal is set to be sealed later this week, with Shakhtar planning an ambitious summer transfer window, and Bruninho expected to be just one of several new arrivals.

Romano stated:

Shakhtar Donetsk have agreed deal to sign 17 year old Brazilian talent Bruninho from Atletico Paranaense. Deal done for €12m, set to be sealed later this week. The Ukrianian club plans to go big this summer on the market; won’t be the only signing.

Elsewhere in the transfer market, Juventus FC are now obligated to complete the permanent signing of Loïs Openda from RB Leipzig after triggering a €46 million clause following their Serie A finish.
