Tottenham Hotspur are in the market for more attacking reinforcements after agreeing a £55m deal for Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United.
Softfootball can report that newly appointed Spurs manager Thomas Frank wants a reunion with Yoane Wissa after they were successful together with the Bees. Wissa formed a potent strike partnership with Bryan Mbeumo in the premier league following the departure of Ivan Toney to Saudi Arabi.
According to the BBC Sport, Brentford are open to selling DR Congo international and the player will be happy to reunite with his former manager.

The 28-year-old will not be the only player The Bees have sold this summer as club captain Christian Norgaard left for Arsenal and goalkeeper Mark Flekken joined Bayer Leverkusen while Mbeumo is strongly linked with a move to Manchester United.
Wissa moved to Brentford on a four-year contract in 2021 for a reported £8.5 million. He went on to rack up 10 goals in 34 appearances that Campaign. The following season, Wissa began the year as Brentford’s starting centre forward after Ivan Toney’s eight-month ban from all football-related activity and performed very well that he was left in that role until the end of last season.
On the international stage, Wissa was invited to the DR Congo squad in October 2020. He scored twice in three international matches to announce his arrival. Wissa then helped DR Congo squad qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and he was named in the squad for the tournament finals.
He played every match and scored two goals during the team’s run to the third place play-off, which was lost on penalties to South Africa. Wissa’s performances were recognised with a place in the Team of the Tournament.
Softfootball reported earlier that Jordan Henderson is set to make his return to the Premier League, with Brentford poised to sign the former Liverpool captain on a free transfer.
The 35-year-old midfielder, who recently left Ajax by mutual agreement, is expected to join Brentford on a two-year deal running until the summer of 2027.
While the move is close to completion, final medical checks and paperwork are scheduled for this weekend, with an official announcement delayed until next week out of respect for Diogo Jota and his family following the tragic passing of the ex-Liverpool forward.
