Benjamin Sesko is preparing for a potential transfer this summer after another standout season with RB Leipzig. The 21-year-old Slovenia international, who stayed with Leipzig last year after nearly moving clubs, now faces renewed interest from top teams, including Chelsea and Arsenal.

Sesko’s decision-making is influenced by his desire for regular first-team football, something he previously felt might be limited at Arsenal due to the presence of Kai Havertz, the club’s highest earner. While Arsenal remain interested and are considering whether to pursue Sesko or Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres, Chelsea’s recent qualification for the Champions League has strengthened their chances of signing the forward.

Currently in Brazil with Leipzig for a friendly against Santos, Sesko shared his thoughts on his future in an interview with German broadcaster Sport1. He praised Leipzig as a great club for development and emphasized his wish to join a team that suits him and brings out his best. Sesko explained that he is taking things day by day and is focused on his current club, leaving the possibility of a transfer open but undecided.

Though Arsenal have laid much groundwork for a deal, they face competition from Chelsea and others for the striker’s signature. As Leipzig’s season concludes, Sesko remains cautious but optimistic about his next steps, prioritizing a club where he can continue to grow and excel.
