University of Bedfordshire welcomed current Luton Town F.C. manager and former England international Jack Wilshere on Wednesday 25th February 2026 as the first speaker in its brand new ‘Powered by Experience’ lecture series, Softfootball reports.
The university shared the visit in a post on LinkedIn, stating:
We were delighted to welcome current Luton Town Football Club manager and former England international Jack Wilshere yesterday as the first speaker in our brand new ‘Powered by Experience’ lecture series! 💬⚽🧡
Led by a panel of our Sport Journalism students Jack reflected on his journey through elite football as a Premier League & international player as well as his transition into coaching & management; exploring themes such as teamwork, leadership, mindset & resilience and how the lessons learned in professional sport can be applied beyond the pitch.
The programme took place from 18:00 to 19:00 British time and concluded with an audience Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to engage directly with Wilshere and the student panel.
