Premier League side, West Ham United have reached a verbal agreement with Adama Traoré this January from Fulham, Softfootball understands.
The Spaniard was an unused substitute for the Cottagers when they lost 1-0 to Leeds in the premier league Match-Day 22 at Elland Road. Fulham are in talks with Manchester City for Oscar Bobb, who could cost in the region of £35m to acquire his services.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, the deal is as good as done with the player set to have his medical and become a new Hammer. He wrote:
West Ham reach verbal agreement to sign Adama Traoré, here we go! Deal in place with documents to exchange and medical tests to follow next. Guido Rodriguez will leave to join Valencia and Adama joins West Ham.
If the deal is eventually completed, Adama Traoré will be teammates with the likes of Callum Wilson, who is set to stay at West Ham beyond this January window. And it also serves as a good signing for the Hammers as they bid to escape relegation.
Adama Traoré will also be reuniting with his former manager, Nuno Espírito Santo, who coached him back at Wolves where they caused chaos in the premier league, winning matches they were placed as underdogs and earning huge reviews.
