Milos Kerkez says positivity is flowing through Liverpool’s squad as they prepare for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Burnley at Anfield. The Reds head into the kick-off looking to stretch their unbeaten run to 12 matches in all competitions, a run that has strengthened belief under Arne Slot.

As reported by SoftFootball, Liverpool are also aiming to turn strong performances into consistent league wins after recent draws, with confidence high ahead of the Burnley test. Liverpool’s momentum has been built across competitions, including a composed FA Cup victory in midweek that underlined the squad’s growing balance and depth.

That sense of togetherness has clearly rubbed off on Kerkez, who has become a regular figure in recent league outings and continues to grow in confidence. SoftFootball highlighted how Liverpool eased past Barnsley to reach the FA Cup fourth round, a result that further lifted spirits inside the camp.

Speaking about the mood within the squad, Kerkez stressed in a post shared by the club’s official X account how important energy and belief are at this stage of the season, especially with Liverpool nine games unbeaten in the league.

Reflecting on their consistency, he said:

We are positive, the energy is really high and I think that’s important. Eleven games unbeaten so we have to continue. We want to win more so I hope it goes like that.

The Hungary left-back has started six of Liverpool’s last seven Premier League matches and was rewarded with the Carlsberg Player of the Match award following an assured display in the recent goalless draw away at Arsenal. For Kerkez, regular minutes have only increased his motivation to deliver for the team.

He explained his mindset clearly, saying:

I’m really happy obviously and I’m happy that I am playing. I really want to give 100 per cent for the club and for the coach, for playing me and putting me on the pitch, and of course for the players that I am with. So, every time I go out I want to give 100 per cent and I’m really happy that I’m playing. Like I say always, I don’t want injuries to come around me and I want to stay fit for as long as possible. I really enjoy to play so I hope it goes like that.

Looking ahead to Burnley, Kerkez expects another demanding contest, similar to the narrow 1-0 win at Turf Moor earlier this season.

He acknowledged the challenges of facing compact defensive setups, noting:

It’s not really always easy to break when someone is playing in a low block because there is not much space. You have space in the pockets but you always have to be quick with one-twos and obviously shoot from distance, and put crosses in. So we’ve been working a lot in this week for that and I think it’s going to help us, for sure, for tomorrow’s game and hopefully we are going to take three points at home.

Kerkez also pointed to Anfield’s atmosphere as a decisive factor during demanding periods, adding:

For sure, our fans give us really, as I always say, unbelievable fuel and you just don’t feel tired too much when you play in Anfield. We have tough games coming up and I feel that in the moment we are in, we can be pretty positive about these games and I’m sure it’s going to be alright.

In all, Kerkez’s words reflect a Liverpool side growing in belief and togetherness as the season gathers pace. With confidence high, key players staying fit, and Anfield once again providing a powerful lift, the Reds will back themselves to turn momentum into another important victory against Burnley and keep their unbeaten run firmly intact.
