Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker reads the bible as he prepares for Burnley showdown

Liverpool football club shared videos and pictures of training sessions ahead of their premier league match-day 22 against Burnley but one thing that caught the attention was goalkeeping Alisson Becker reading his bible and sipping coffee, Softfootball reports.

The Brazilian has never been shy in expressing his Christian faith and he is one of the most outspoken lads in the dressing room. For example, when other players shy away from talking about difficult topic, he wasn’t. Alisson added his voice to the Salah and Arne Slot rift and so many other club and national issues.

Here is the video posted by Liverpool on via their official X handle where Alisson was seen sipping coffee but most importantly reading his bible in the training complex as the Reds prepare for their weekend game. They posted:

Alisson was missing from the Liverpool team that beat Barnsley 4-1 in the FA Cup third round as he was rested and expected to return against Scot Parker’s men on Saturday at Anfield.

Earlier this season, the 33-year-old former Roma goalkeeper reached 100 clean records for Liverpool in the premier league and has continued to perform at the highest level. He is rated as one of the best goalkeepers in the premier league, , known for his excellent shot-stopping, positioning, and ball distribution.

Liverpool sit fourth on the premier league table with 35 points after 21 matches so far this season.
