Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 3-2 to win the 263rd El Clasico to win Supercopa de Espana final at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium, Softfootball reports.
The Los Blancos reached the final with a 2-1 win over Atletico in a very feisty encounter as Federico Valverde Rodrygo scored for Real Madrid while Alexander Sørloth scored for Diego Simeone’s men in that semi-final clash.

For Barcelona, it was more emphatic as the Catalan giants hammered Athletic Bilbao 5-0. Raphinha scored scored a brace in that game while the other goals came from Ferran Torres, Fermin Lopez and Roony Bardghji, who was just assigned the jersey number 19 by the club.

Under pressure, Xabi Alonso could only start Kylian Mbappe from the bench as he was still battling for fitness after returning from injury while Hansi Flick decided to bench Marcus Rashford and Dani Olmo and start veteran striker, Robert Lewandowski.
It was Barcelona that took the lead in the 33rd minute through in-form Brazilian forward, Raphinha but Real Madrid fought back as they equalised through Vinicius Junior, who was enjoying a great game but it was the Catalan club that went into the break in front as Lewandowski made it 2-1.

Barcelona wasted no time in celebrating the win with their fans as they shared on their official X handle the champions posted. They posted:
🏆 SUPER CUP CHAMPIONS 🏆

At the restart, Real Madrid got back level through youngster, Gozalo Garcia, he also scored in the semifinal. It was a goal that made the game even as they both gave it all in pursuit of the Supercopa title.
