Aston Villa welcome relegation threatened Wolverhampton Wanderers to Villa Park in the Match-Day 13 of the Premier League on Sunday, Softfootball reports.

Unai Emery’s men has won 10 out of their last 12 matches in all competition. Aston Villa beat Young Boys 2-1 on Thursday to continue their good run while Wolves lost 2-0 to Crystal Palace last weekend.

Andre Gomes, who is the cause of interest from a lot of European clubs is the key man for Wolves and they would need him to be at his best in midfield when they travel to Villa Park later on Sunday. He is a good tackler and passer of the ball with a powerful shot that can score from range.

Aston Villa defender, Tyrone Mings is expected to be sidelined for another month due to his ongoing hamstring issue. Ezri Konsa and Pau Torres will battle for the center back position.

Dutchman Donyell Malen, who scored both goals in the win over Young Boys in the Europa League will be pushing for a starting spot against Wolves alongside Buendia.

For Wolves, Dan Bentley was spotted in a protective boot recently as he recovers from a serious ankle injury. Matt Doherty is not available for the match against Aston Villa while wing-back, Rodrigo Gomes is out until after the New Year following surgery on a groin problem.
