Bayern Munich have been flying high in all competitions this season, beating teams black and blue without remorse like they stole something from them, thanks to the tinkering of manager Vincent Kompany.
Softfootball reported earlier how the Bavarians hammered Frankfurt 3-0 away from home just before the international break and they are not showing any signs of weakness with talisman, Harry Kane, scoring already 21 goals for club and country so far and the season is not half way yet. His latest being a brace as England beat Latvia 5-0 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Bayer Munich’s official media excitedly shared pictures of star man Jamal Musiala back in the gym training and had a chat with the German midfielder. He said:
I think you learn a lot during an injury. For example, I see how much fun you normally have and how much I love football. And you have the time to calmly look at everything you can do better. You don’t have that time to think about everything on the pitch. And obviously I want to come back better.
Truly, Kompany’s team has been having fun this season with huge results and players freedom evident to see and fire power brought in with the signings of Liverpool’s Luis Diaz and Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea on loan.
Musiala has not featured for the Bavarians since the summer after Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma broke his leg and ankle in the Club World Cup quarter-final. It is now the longest spell injured for the 22-year-old in his career so far.

Despite the setback, Musiala is eager to get back to the pitch and have fun with his teammates instead of watching from the treatment room. He said:
You can see how well we’re playing, how much fun everyone’s having. I want to be a part of that and back on the pitch, also with Phonzy. We want to have fun after our injuries and make sure we win a lot as a team.
However, the question on the minds of everyone is. Will Musiala walk straight into the first team of Bayern Munich when he returns before or after the winter break? Ordinarily, he is Bayern’s best player and was handed the number 10 jersey in the summer because they were expecting a huge season from him before the injury.

Musiala gives Bayern a different dimension and would get them closer to winning the UEFA Champions League which they crave a lot this season. It would be difficult for Vincent Kompany to keep him out of the side and that provides him a healthy headache because he is dealing with a winner.
Recall, after Musiala got injured, the manager was pained and expressed anger that he would be heading into the new season without his best player but as things have turned out, they are doing so well that, it would be difficult to bench anyone in the current line-up.
