Kelleher was faced with Ronaldo in the second half after a penalty was awarded for hand ball and he came out ontop with an amazing stop that sent the away fans into wild jubilation.

Brentford’s official X handle posted immediately he made the save. It read:

Caoimhin Kelleher. Outstanding. 👏👏

Kelleher was understudy to Allison Becker at Liverpool but insisted a move away this summer as he wanted more playing time at Brentford and the Bees made him number one after selling Mark Flekken to Bundesliga outfit, Bayer Leverkusen.

Kelleher has kept every game for Brentford this season as they are currently placed 16th with seven points after seven matches.
