All is set for tonight’’s Ligue 1 encounter between Paris Saint-Germain and Auxerre at the Parc des Princes, Softfootball reports.

PSG manager, Luis Enrique will look to bounce back from Monday’s 1-0 defeat to Marseille while Auxerre will look to build on their 1-0 win over Toulouse last weekend. But the manager has also got eyes for next week’s Champions League game against Barcelona and has rested some key players for this game.

The Parisians are looking to record a fourth successive clean sheet since the start of the season following Angers, Lens and Atalanta. The team has only achieved the feat four times: 1985-1986 (5 matches), 1992-1993 (4 matches), 1996-1997 (6 matches) and 2019-2020 (4 matches).

Interestingly, Paris Saint-Germain are unbeaten in their last seven competitive meetings with the Burgundy club (5 wins, 2 draws) since a 1-0 defeat in Auxerre on 5 March 2011.

Auxerre will be delighted that current Ballon D’Or winner Ousmane Dembele won’t be available for this match as he is yet to recover from injury.

Paris have scored in their last 35 Ligue 1 games at the Parc des Princes, and could break the club’s top-flight record (35 matches, January 2013-December 2014).
