Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique has expressed his disappointment with his sides defeat against Marseille this evening, Softfootball can report.
PSG accepted to play the match on a day the 2025 Ballon D’Or was taking take and they missed Ousmane Dembele winning the award for the very first time after he pipped Barcelona superstar for the award.

Speaking to the PSG’s official media, Enrique shared his thoughts after a narrow defeat in Marseille. He said:
Of course it’s difficult to analyse this match. We love that kind of atmosphere, we’re used to playing this kind of game, but in the first half, we weren’t calm. I think that we made a lot of mistakes and it’s a shame because we conceded a goal through a mistake and we have to change that.
But it’s normal in football, mistakes are part of the game. I think in the second half the team played better and created more chances. We had three clear opportunities, and it’s a shame that it finished like that because it’s a match that is always important for us.
PSG went into the match with confidence after beating Serie A side Atalanta 4-0 win the UEFA Champions League but suffered their first defeat of the season against the very impressive Marseille side.
After the defeat Paris Saint-Germain has now slipped to second on the Ligue 1 table with 12 points after five matches while Marseille sit sixth with nine points.
