Speaking to the PSG’s official media, Enrique shared his thoughts after a narrow defeat in Marseille. He said:

Of course it’s difficult to analyse this match. We love that kind of atmosphere, we’re used to playing this kind of game, but in the first half, we weren’t calm. I think that we made a lot of mistakes and it’s a shame because we conceded a goal through a mistake and we have to change that.

But it’s normal in football, mistakes are part of the game. I think in the second half the team played better and created more chances. We had three clear opportunities, and it’s a shame that it finished like that because it’s a match that is always important for us.

PSG went into the match with confidence after beating Serie A side Atalanta 4-0 win the UEFA Champions League but suffered their first defeat of the season against the very impressive Marseille side.
