Barcelona youngster, Lamine Yamal has admitted he now feels a deep responsibility to give back to those who stood by him during the toughest times especially his mother, who has been a constant source of support.
At just 18 years, Yamal has become one of football’s prized assets and is currently the most valued player in the world. He is now playing in the big leagues, earning massive money and putting himself in contention to win the Ballon d’Or.
It is difficult not to admire the maturity Lamine Yamal displays at such a young age. Beyond his talent on the pitch, the teenager carries himself with a level of composure and responsibility well beyond his years.

According to a post shared on Fabrizio Romano’s Facebook page, Yamal has spoken about the joy of fulfilling his mother’s dream by buying her a house. The winger also revealed he has extended the same gesture to his father and grandmother, revealing how these moments have given him a deep sense of pride and peace. The post reads:
Lamine Yamal, on buying his mom a house: I asked my mother about the area and told her: Which one do you want? It had everything she wished for. She’s my QUEEN, the most precious person to me, and I just want her to be happy.
I see my little brother ENJOING CHILDHOOD I always wished I had, and that makes me happier than anything else. I see my father at peace in his home, and my grandmother calm in hers. That’s all a child could ever ask for, said at Fundacion JMR.
All these achievements is thanks to a brilliant start to his professional career, which started at age 15. The forward has since racked up 109 competitive appearances for Barça, in which he has scored 27 goals while providing 37 assists.
Yamal’s contributions helped Barcelona secure the domestic treble, and the youngster is now in contention to win the Ballon d’Or heading into the Sept 22 gala.
As the focus shifts to the gala in Paris, Lamine Yamal has recently talked about his ambitions of winning the Ballon d’Or. The Barcelona superstar once again showcased his winning mentality by admitting that he won’t be content with winning just one Ballon d’Or title.
The 18-year-old believes he is more than capable of winning multiple Ballon d’Ors, just like the Barcelona greats before him, including Lionel Messi.
However, it must be noted that the Barcelona star will face stiff competition from Ousmane Dembele as he looks to win his first Ballon d’Or title this month.
