A massive 170 places separate England and Andorra in the FIFA world rankings, and the gulf in quality is expected to be on full display when they meet in this World Cup qualifier. Nine points already divide the two sides in Group K, setting up a classic case of David vs Goliath. softfootball reports

Qualifying for the World Cup has rarely been a problem for England, and it doesn’t look like it will be this time either. Thomas Tuchel’s men have breezed through their opening three qualifiers, winning all without conceding.

Softfootball understands that the England boss is eager to use this campaign to build momentum towards finally ending the Three Lions’ 60-year wait for a major international trophy.

With a 30-game unbeaten home run in World Cup qualifiers, the stats and form are firmly on England’s side. Harry Kane, who scored the winner in the first leg, will be key for the Three Lions, especially given his pedigree for scoring in close games for England.

However, England will have to do without key players like Cole Palmer, Jude Bellingham, and Bukayo Saka, who are out due to injuries. That being said, England still remains the overwhelming favorite heading into this game.

For Andorra, this campaign has been about damage control rather than dreams. They’ve lost all four of their qualifiers so far, a pattern that has plagued them in previous cycles as well. They’re simply hoping to avoid another qualification run where they lose every game and fail to find the net, something they endured in both 2010 and 2014.

Marc Vales, who recently celebrated 100 caps, remains a leader in the squad, but history is firmly against them. Their all-time World Cup qualifying record reads four wins, three draws, and a staggering 59 losses.

With England dominating all seven past meetings by an aggregate of 26-0, including a narrow 1-0 win in the reverse fixture, Andorra face yet another uphill battle.

Andorra Confirmed Lineup to face England in the ongoing FIFA World Cup qualifiers was posted on their official X handle.

England will be expected to dominate possession and create chances at will, while Andorra will likely sit deep, hoping to frustrate and maybe snatch a rare moment of glory.

But with the form Tuchel’s men are in and their relentless clean-sheet streak in qualifiers, anything other than another routine win for the Three Lions would be a huge shock.
