Harry Kane scores a hat-trick as Bundesliga defending champion, Bayern Munich crushed Leipzig 6-0 to begin their 2025/26 campaign, Softfootball reports.
Bavarians Coach, Vincent Kompany started the same side that won Franz Beckenbauer Supercup win over Stuttgart. New signings Jonathan Tah and Luis Díaz were handed starts while Serge Gnabry played in the No.10 role while Leipzig gave Bundesliga debuts to Yan Diomande and Johan Bakayoko.
The game made an explosive start as both sides look to take the initiative. But Bayern were the more assertive as they controlled possession.
And it was no surprise when the champions took the lead through former Crystal Palace midfielder, Michael Olise after receiving a pass from Gnabry.
Former Liverpool winger, Luis Díaz who joined Bayern this summer made it 2-0 with a beautiful finish that came of the cross bar. Again, it was Gnabry that provided the assist for the Colombian.
It was a first half master class from the Bavarian and it was rounded of with a second goal from Olise. The French international worked himself onto another pass from Gnabry and slammed it home for 3-0 and a hat-trick of assists for the German international.
Bayern Munich did not slow down in the second half as former Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane made it 4-0. As he got to the end of a swift counter attacking play.
After a series of substitutions, Harry Kane took over the show. The English man powered in a fifth goal with aplomb. He was tasty for more and got his hat-trick after a loose pass from Lukeba was picked off by Kim, who drives forward before playing in Kane to score his third goal of the game and Bayern’s sixth goal.

Beating RB Leipzig 6-0 will send fear down the spine of other opponents. Bayern are in good form and ready for their 11th Bundesliga title in 12 years.
