Sancho is viewed as surplus to requirement at Old Trafford after manager, Reuben Amorim refused him extra time to resolve his future.

Manchester United gave Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Alexander Garnacho, Malacia and Antony time off pre-season to get a new club as they are considered not part of Amorim’s squad for the new season.

Sancho was on loan at Chelsea last season where he won the UEFA Conference League and qualified for the Champions League but the Blues refused to trigger the agreement to sign him permanently as the England international refused to lower his wages.

Instead, Chelsea returned him to Manchester United with the agreed loan fee of £5 million. The former Borussia Dortmund winger also rejected offers from Saudi Arabia as he prefers to stay in Europe.

Serie A giants, Juventus got Sancho to lower his wages but offered a very low bid for his services. The Red Devils values Sancho at £25million but the Turin giants only offered £8.5million with £5million in add-ons.

Juventus are expected to increase their bid for Sancho and he is open to the move. The winger also wants £5million from Manchester United as loyal bonus as he would be taking a pay-vit to join Juventus if they can agree a deal with Manchester United.

However, with Nottingham Forest in the picture, Juventus may be forced to meet Manchester United’s valuation of Sancho or lose out to the Premier League side who are eager for the signature of the former Manchester City academy star.

Forest are hoping that Sancho can revive his career like Anthony Elanga did while playing for them, especially last season which earned him a big money move to Newcastle United.

Softfootball reported earlier that Nottingham Forest blocked to transfer of Morgan Gibbs-White to Tottenham Hotspur after they sold Elanga and are hoping to sign Sancho this summer.

Sancho joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 and was part of the Red Devils squad that won the EFL Cup in 2022 season.
