Alejandro Garnacho is reportedly determined to remain in the Premier League, despite Manchester United’s plans to offload the Argentine winger this summer, according to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

The 21-year-old is anticipated to leave the Reds before the transfer window closes and does not feature in Ruben Amorim’s plans.

The Argentine international, who was up for sale in January, was instructed by the Portuguese head coach to seek a new club after Garnacho publicly criticised the decision not to start him in the Europa League final loss to Tottenham. Consequently, Garnacho has been absent from United’s pre-season preparations.

Softfootball has reliably learned that Aston Villa have shown interest in Garnacho, while Chelsea and Tottenham are also reportedly keeping an eye on the 21-year-old’s situation.

While several clubs abroad  including top sides from Italy and Germany  have expressed concrete interest in the winger, Garnacho has made it clear that his preference is to remain in England.

Alejandro is in no rush to finalise a move abroad and hopes that a Premier League solution will emerge in the coming weeks.

Talks with interested clubs are expected to intensify soon. Chelsea have explored the idea of a potential player swap involving Nicolas Jackson, though no formal offer has yet been submitted.

Garnacho has already rejected interest from Saudi Arabia, underlining his ambition to remain in Europe’s top five leagues, with the Premier League being his top priority.

United previously valued Garnacho at £70million, but i think that figure may be hard to achieve given the public fallout over the winger’s situation at United. However, any fee will provide pure profit for the club in terms of profit and sustainability rules.

In an earlier report Softfootball reported that Jose Mourinho is prepared to offer Rashford lifeline away from Manchester United.

Marcus Rashford is set to be offered an escape route out of Old Trafford by his former manager Jose Mourinho but the 27-year-old is reportedly not keen on the idea of moving to Turkey.
