Arteta Out ink writing appears at the Emirates

Softfootball have been informed that there has been an “Arteta Out” ink writing on the walls of the Emirates stadium.  This recent event appears that some Arsenal fans are getting frustrated with the manager.

Per the Mirror, graffiti has appeared at the Emirates, with fans daubing the statement ‘Arteta Out’ over artwork designed for the Gunners.

Under Arteta, the club have won the FA Cup and the FA Community Shield but have come short repeatedly in both the Premier League and the Champions League. Last season, they finished second, but were 10 points behind eventual champions Liverpool.

The Gunners have been active in this transfer window with more than 8 players leaving the club. Thomas Partey, Tomiyasu and Jorginho are among the players who have left. Arteta’s team are still looking at the possibility of offloading more players before the window shuts.

For new players, they have endured mixed fortunes in the transfer window. While they have secured a deal to sign Noni Madueke from Chelsea, they are yet to add an outright striker, despite lengthy talks with Sporting CP over Viktor Gyokeres which has reportedly stalled recently.

Arsenal fans on social media have had divided opinions on reports that the Gunners are signing another Chelsea player after they had added Kepa Arrizabalaga who was the Gunners’ first signing this summer.

Fans have actually started a petition against the potential signing of Madueke, with it receiving more than 4,000 signatures. It is unlikely to have any effect as he is poised to join Kepa, Christian Norgaard, and Martin Zubimendi as new signings at the Emirates.

Of course, there is the potential that rival fans have daubed the graffiti, but it reflects a growing idea that the Spaniard needs to enjoy a successful 2025/26 season.

Softfootball have confirmed that the Gunners are set to seal the deal to buy Madueke from Chelsea as the Blues have granted the English man permission to go sort his transfer out.

Noni Madueke has been given permission by Chelsea to leave the club’s camp in the United States, where they are preparing to face Paris St-Germain in the Club World Cup final on Sunday for his medical at Arsenal.

The Gunners had their £52million offer accepted for Madueke by their London rivals Chelsea and he is now due to undergo a medical before completing his move to the Emirates.
