After an unpleasing display at the FIFA Club World Cup that saw them knocked out in the Round of 16 by Brazilian side, Fluminense, Inter Milan are on the verge of losing midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu to Premier League sides this summer with Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, Fulham knocking.
The Turkish had joined Inter Milan in 2021 from city rivals AC Milan and has remained an important figure in the team that won the Serie A and Coppa Italia twice and reached the finals of the UEFA Champions league twice.
United are set to wrap up a deal for Bryan Mbeumo and the recruitment team are now looking to sign up a midfielder urgently as there are concerns over how much Casemiro can give due to his ageing legs and Manuel Ugarte’s struggles to settle in the club.

Galatasaray are said to have submitted a €15 million offer for the player but is believed to be way below Inter’s valuation of their star midfielder. The Turkish side might not be able to battle with Premier League sides who are interested in the Turkish star if Inter insist on their €40m valuation.
Both Manchester United and Fulham have been reported to have made contacts with Inter Milan according to Italian outfit, FC Inter 1908. Their report states:
