Kelechi Iheanacho continued his impressive goalscoring form after finding the net for the 11th consecutive league game as Bursaspor recorded a 2-0 home victory over Pendikspor.
The Nigerian striker, popularly known as Seniorman Kelz, maintained his remarkable consistency in front of goal, taking his tally to 15 goals in 11 appearances this season. His latest strike further underlined his importance to Bursaspor as the club continues its campaign.
Iheanacho has been in outstanding form in recent weeks, regularly delivering goals and providing the attacking threat his team needs. His ability to find the net consistently has made him one of the standout performers in the league, with defenders struggling to contain his movement and finishing.
Softfootball understands that the striker’s current form could strengthen his chances of attracting greater attention from the Nigerian national team, particularly with the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) approaching. His continued success in front of goal gives him a strong argument for consideration as Nigeria assess their attacking options.
The latest performance also comes amid reports surrounding his extended goalscoring streak, with Kelechi Iheanacho Extends Scoring Streak to Seven Straight Games as AFCON Call-Up Looms highlighting the growing excitement around his performances and possible international return.
For Bursaspor, the 2-0 victory provides another positive result, while Iheanacho’s contribution remains a major reason for optimism. His current scoring record demonstrates the confidence and sharpness he has developed this season.
With 15 goals already recorded in just 11 appearances, Iheanacho will be eager to maintain his momentum and help Bursaspor achieve their objectives. If he continues producing at this level, his performances could make it increasingly difficult for Nigeria’s selectors to overlook him ahead of upcoming international commitments.
