Super Falcons defender Glory Ogbonna was given a special welcome by her Beşiktaş teammates during training today, Friday, 4 September 2026, following her second return to the Turkish club.
Her return to Beşiktaş comes after she spent the 2025–2026 season with Israeli side Kiryat Gat.
During her first training session back, her teammates formed a guard of honour around her and gave her pats on the back as she ran through the middle, a tradition commonly practised in football by clubs to welcome back players, celebrate milestones, or mark special occasions.
