Casemiro has officially joined Inter Miami, signing a contract that runs through the 2027 MLS season, with an option to extend until June 2029.
This move comes months after Softfootball confirmed ahead of Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest on Sunday, 17 May 2026, that Casemiro would say goodbye to Old Trafford, with that match marking his final home appearance for the club.
Casemiro played a huge part in Manchester United’s success this season, helping the team secure 3rd place in the Premier League and qualify for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League. There were calls for him to be given at least one extra year on his contract, but this did not materialise.
