Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare continued his outstanding goalscoring form by inspiring KRC Genk to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League.

The 24-year-old opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a composed finish before turning provider late in the game, setting up Konstantinos Karetsas to wrap up all three points for the league leaders.

Softfootball reports Arokodare’s latest goal took his tally to 11 in 19 league appearances this season, further underlining his importance to Genk’s impressive campaign.

The victory lifted Genk to 41 points from 19 matches, keeping them firmly in contention at the top of the Belgian Pro League standings as they continue their pursuit of the league title.
