Softfootball understands that Paris Saint-Germain are close to completing Digne’s arrival as the club also keeps one eye on other squad changes, including the possibility of opening the door for Bradley Barcola’s departure amid growing interest from Arsenal.

Digne is viewed as an ideal addition, bringing valuable experience and quality to provide strong competition and reliable cover for first-choice left-back Nuno Mendes.

The move marks a homecoming for the former Lille and PSG academy graduate, who has built an impressive career across Europe with spells at Roma, Barcelona, Everton, and Aston Villa. His experience at the highest level is expected to add depth and leadership to Luis Enrique’s squad.

With a verbal agreement already in place, only the final formalities remain before Digne is officially announced as a Paris Saint-Germain player. His return is expected to strengthen PSG’s defensive unit as they prepare to compete for domestic and European honours in the upcoming campaign.
