Inter Milan’s move for Anan Khalaili has collapsed after the transfer was called off following the player’s medical examination.
According to new reports, The Nerazzurri had already reached a full agreement with Union Saint-Gilloise and settled personal terms with Khalaili, with the deal appearing to be in its final stages.
However, the transfer could not proceed after the medical tests failed to satisfy the requirements of the Italian regulatory system, bringing negotiations to an abrupt end.
Softfootball understands Inter are also emerging as serious contenders to sign Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah. The 26-year-old is reportedly open to a move to Serie A this summer, with club-to-club talks expected to follow if negotiations progress.

For Chelsea, Chalobah’s future remains one of several important decisions to be made during a busy transfer window.
Inter will now be forced to explore alternative targets as they continue strengthening their squad ahead of the new season.
