Spain concluded their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with an impressive 3-1 victory over Peru in Puebla, Mexico.

Despite being without key stars Lamine Yamal, Nico Williams and Víctor Muñoz through injury, Luis de la Fuente’s side delivered a dominant performance.

Mikel Oyarzabal opened the scoring after just two minutes before Pedri doubled Spain’s advantage in the 32nd minute. An own goal from Pedro Gallese early in the second half effectively ended the contest before Jairo Vélez grabbed a consolation goal for Peru.

Spain will now turn their attention to their World Cup opener against Cape Verde on June 15, with fixtures against Saudi Arabia and Uruguay to follow in the group stage.
