The excitement does not end there. Aston Villa have also confirmed that they will face Paris Saint-Germain in the 2026 UEFA Super Cup. UEFA has announced that the showpiece fixture will take place on August 12, 2026, at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg, Austria, where Villa will have the opportunity to add another major European trophy to their collection.
Manager Unai Emery has already challenged his squad to build on their achievements, insisting the objective is to continue improving and aim even higher next season.
