The Super Eagles of Nigeria held their final training session today ahead of Wednesday’s international friendly against Poland. The match is scheduled for 7:45 PM Nigerian time at the 58,000‑capacity PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw.
A few key players were unavailable for this international window due to various reasons. Samuel Chukwueze was excused following the passing of his mother, whom he laid to rest over on Friday, 29th May 2026.
Ademola Lookman was left out after Atlético Madrid requested he be given adequate rest following a demanding club season. Victor Osimhen was also omitted, with the striker expected to be involved in transfer discussions this summer and keen to avoid any injury that could affect a potential move.

As a result, several new faces have been called up to replace the unavailable players and give them an opportunity to impress.
