Barcelona head into their final stretch of the La Liga season still in a commanding position at the top as reported by we coach barcelona via their youtube channel, but head coach Hansi Flick has warned that nothing is secured yet as softfootball report that they prepare to face Celta Vigo, a side he described as “always complicated” for the Catalan giants.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Flick stressed the difficulty of the encounter and the need for focus despite Barça’s strong league position:

They adapt a lot but also they will do it tomorrow. So we have… however we say we play, have to play on our best game. And of course we want to win this game. But it’s not easy because they are doing a good job and they have players also can control the game and play really good out. So brave out and we have to make our game.

The Barcelona coach also reflected on the emotional setback of their Champions League elimination, admitting the pain still lingers but insisting it must fuel their league push.

For me it’s a journey. Every season is a journey like that. At the end it could also happen that you have a defeat like that. We have a young team and it hurts a lot. It was really painful that we go out. We have to do it better also in the next games… but also for the next season.

Despite the disappointment in Europe, Flick remains proud of his squad’s response and insists their La Liga focus is now absolute.

Now we have to focus on La Liga. We want to win La Liga but it’s not done yet. Of course we have some points ahead but La Liga is very difficult. This will not be easy but we have to play and this is what we want to do.

He further added that the team must continue taking things step by step as pressure builds in the final matches of the season.

We go step by step, game by game, and always perform on the highest level. This is what I want to see from the team in the next seven games.

Flick also highlighted the importance of mentality and unity within the squad as Barcelona chase the title.

We have a young team and a lot of potential. We need leadership on the pitch, we need to make the right decisions in crucial moments, and we must learn from every game.

With Barcelona knocked out of the Champions League after a painful defeat to Atlético Madrid, Flick admitted the setback was difficult but believes it has strengthened their resolve.

It was a big blow getting eliminated from the Champions League. It hurts a lot, but it gives us more energy for the next games. At the end, it’s about how we respond.

Barcelona remain in control of the La Liga title race, and Flick is confident that if his players maintain focus, the season can still end in success despite European disappointment.

Of course we want to win La Liga. It’s not done yet. But we are in a good position and we have to finish the job.

As the season edges closer to its conclusion, this fixture against Celta Vigo represents more than just another three points it’s a test of Barcelona’s mentality, resilience, and ability to respond after disappointment. With the title within reach, every performance now carries weight, and consistency will be the difference between promise and silverware.

For Barcelona, the task is simple but demanding: stay focused, manage the pressure, and finish what they have started.
