Manchester United are once again under heavy scrutiny after a shocking run of results, with Softfootball reporting that frustration has reached new levels among fans following a 2–1 defeat to Leeds United.

D Real Kombo, reacting in a strongly worded YouTube breakdown on his youtube channel, did not hold back as he criticised the team’s inconsistency and mentality, saying:

i am saying Manchester United is a ‘mid table club’ now, you will see their fans. Don’t call us a mid table club. We are not a mid table club. We are a top club. Come on, get out, get out, get out. Mid table club that you are. If not for Chelsea, Liverpool and Aston Villa, there is no reason why you should even be in the top three in the Premier League.

You are a very, very unserious football club. Your mates play football three times a week, two times a week, but you play football once in three months, and even that once in three months is nonsense. Look at your defenders, they just make mistakes everywhere. Mid table club that you are.

You are just fortunate that you are in the Premier League because other teams like Chelsea, Liverpool and others are also not very consistent. So you are just lucky to be here. Manchester United fans waited 24 days and still saw this nonsense.

Marcus Rashford, if you like, don’t show up tomorrow, you will go back there and suffer with them. I can never support a club like Manchester United. No plan, no direction, no future. Just a bunch of confusion.

The criticism comes amid a disappointing spell for United, who also played out a 2–2 draw with AFC Bournemouth, a result that further highlighted their lack of consistency.

Despite flashes of quality in recent weeks, including standout performances from Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, and Benjamin Šeško in their 3–1 win over Aston Villa, the overall mood around the club remains negative.

Fans on social media have echoed similar concerns, pointing to poor preparation after long breaks and a lack of mental toughness in key matches.

The “mid-table club” narrative is growing louder among supporters, with pressure mounting on players and management to respond quickly before the situation worsens further.
