Football analyst D Real Kombo has sent a strong warning to Arsenal and manager Mikel Arteta, stressing that this season could define the club’s future mentally if they fail to win the league title.
Speaking in a detailed breakdown on his YouTube channel, Kombo emphasized that Arsenal’s current position as longtime frontrunners makes the stakes even higher.

He suggested that after finishing second repeatedly in recent years, this campaign represents their best chance yet, especially with rivals like Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea not at their usual dominant levels earlier in the season.
If Arsenal fail to win this league, the psychological damage will be too much to recover from. This is the closest they’ve been because for most of the season they were the clear favourites. Other big teams were struggling, and Arsenal carried the league for a long time. But now Manchester City are building momentum again, and we all know how dangerous Pep Guardiola becomes towards the end of the season. He doesn’t always start well, but once his team clicks, especially around April, it becomes almost impossible to stop them. Arsenal still have a chance, but they must manage their Champions League game carefully and make sure they don’t lose to City next. If they lose that match, the title could slip away completely.

His comments come at a tense moment for Arsenal, with Softfootball noting that their title hopes recently suffered a setback after a shock 2–1 defeat to Bournemouth. However, the team responded in Europe with a narrow win over Sporting CP, where players like Havertz and Raya earned praise for their performances.

With Manchester City regaining form under Pep Guardiola and closing the gap, the title race is now entering a decisive phase—one that could either define Arsenal’s rise or deepen long-standing doubts around their ability to finish strong.
